Education: Sign language courses broadcast on Laâyoune TV from Monday

Sign language courses will be broadcast from next Monday on TV Laâyoune on a daily basis, the Ministry of National Education, Vocational Training, Higher Education and Scientific Research announced on Saturday. .

These lessons, intended for students of the first and second years of primary education with hearing disabilities, will be broadcast from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. for the first year and from 5:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. for the second year, the ministry said in a statement.

Educational resources relating to the two school levels will be regularly posted on the official portal of the ministry www.men.gov.ma and its official pages on social networks.

The initiative comes under project 4 provided for in framework law 51-17 on the education, training and scientific research system, aimed at guaranteeing access to education for children with disabilities. It is also part of the implementation of the National Program of Inclusive Education for Children with Disabilities, launched on June 26, 2019.
