The African Football Confederation (CAF) knows the presence of many Moroccans in its body, particularly since the appointment of Patrice Motsepe.
Morocco will continue to be well represented within the new CAF team led by Patrice Motsepe, and will be able to count on Fouzi Lekjaa as a member of the Emergency Committee who will also chair one of the most strategic commissions, namely the one that takes care of the organization of the African Cup of Nations.
In addition, the Royal African Football Federation (FRMF) will submit several candidacies so that Moroccans can have positions within CAF. Said Naciri, Hamza El Hajoui, Hassan Fillali or Yahya Hadka are therefore concerned.
It is also expected that a Moroccan technical manager will occupy a position in the continental technical direction, supporting the influence of Morocco within the Moroccan body.
In addition, Fouzi Lekjaa will attend his first meeting this Friday as a member of the FIFA Executive Committee. This meeting will be organized online due to the coronavirus crisis. Gianni Infantino is expected to confirm the appointment of the Moroccan to this post.
