The Atlas Lions confirmed their qualification for the African Cup of Nations (CAN-2022) on Tuesday, March 30 at the Moulay Abdellah Complex in Rabat, by defeating Burundi (1-0) on behalf of the 6th and final day (Group E) of the CAN qualifiers. Munir Haddadi scored the lions’ goal in the 44th minute. Morocco and Mauritania, which defeated the Central African Republic, are the two qualified teams in Group E.
