Saad Amzazi, Minister of National Education, Vocational Training, Higher Education, and Scientific Research, launched on Tuesday, February 23 in Fez the official training plan for educational and administrative staff of secondary schools who are benefiting from this initiative “Secondary Education”.

This ceremony, which was also presided by the General Director of the Millennium Challenge Account-Morocco Agency (MCA-Morocco), Malika Laasri, and the Resident Director of Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) in Morocco, Richard Gaynor, marked the deployment of the training plan for the benefit of 6,000 administrative and pedagogical executives mainly coming from the three Regional Academies of Education and Training (AREF) of Fès-Meknes, Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima and Marrakech-Safi, beneficiaries of the “Secondary Education” project “.

“This initiative will be extended to all academies as part of the implementation of project of the implementation portfolio of system law 51.17, “Renovation of education professions and management of technical careers,”  In press release, the ministry emphasized.

“The development of this training program aligns with the strategic orientations of the Department of National Education (DEN) in the area of ​​continuing education and in partnership with the National Center for Educational Innovation and Experimentation (CNIPE) / Central Unit for the Training of Executives (UCFC), the Regional Centers for Trades in Education and Training (CRMEF) and the AREFs concerned ”, added the press release.

It should be noted that this training program, whose sessions will be led by 480 trainers rigorously selected at the regional level following calls for applications launched by the DEN, is structured around 26 modules covering three main areas, to namely “Pedagogy and didactics”, “Management and leadership” and “Transversal modules”.

“It aims to strengthen the capacities and skills of educational and administrative executives working at the level of secondary education establishments, provincial directorates, AREFs and CRMEFs concerned, as well as at the central level, to ensure optimal implementation of the “Lycée Attahadi” model, the main component of the “Secondary Education” project under the “Compact II” cooperation program, with a budget of 450 million dollars financed by the government of the United States of America, represented by the MCC, and the implementation of which is entrusted to the MCA-Morocco Agency ”, explains the ministry, specifying that this plan, which will be deployed according to a hybrid model (face-to-face and remote), will also promote self-training and distance training. educational and administrative actors, via the DEN distance learning platform
