According to his relatives, Omar Boucetta, the former head of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF), died Monday evening at the age of 101.

The FRMF expressed its sympathies to the deceased’s family as well as national football in a statement posted on its website on Tuesday.

From 1957 until 1962, Omar Boucetta served as the FRMF’s president. He was also the president of the Fez Maghreb

The deceased, a former diplomat, also held the post of Minister of Youth and Sports and Social Affairs from April 1969 to March 1970.
