King Mohammed VI sent a message of condolence to Elizabeth II, Queen of the United Kingdom, following the death of her husband, Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.

The King indicates  in this message that he learned of the death of “Your beloved husband, His Royal Highness, Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh” with “great sorrow.” “May He Rest in Peace,” the Sovereign writes. On this sad occasion, the King sends his personal condolences and deep sympathy to Queen Elizabeth II, all members of the august royal family, and the British people.
