On the occasion of International Women’s Day which is celebrated on March 8 of each year, the Cervantes Institute in Casablanca dedicates its cultural program for the month of March to the creativity of women. The Institute continues with its activity online and on social networks and offers a cycle of cinema on the Vimeo channel throughout the month of March with six films directed by pioneering women in the history of Spanish cinema. Also on the Instagram page, from March 3 to 15, the exhibition “Illustrées. A look at feminine creation in avant-garde illustration ”shows for two weeks the freest, creative and personal work of twelve illustrators from Spain and Latin America. And on the Institute’s Facebook page and YouTube channel, on Thursdays in March, the Institute publishes the second season of its famous series of creative video clips “Encapsulados”, produced by Institute professor Bárbara Moreno. and devoted to famous phrases from great works of literature in Spanish.
