The National Union of Associations working in the field of Mental Handicap in Morocco (UNAHM) recently held a meeting, during which its members sent a letter to the head of government to benefit people with disabilities from the national campaign of vaccination.
“We would like to welcome the Royal Decision to adopt the free vaccine against Covid-19 for all Moroccans. In this sense, we call on the authorities to take the necessary measures to benefit from the vaccine this category of the population which is particularly vulnerable and likely to develop serious forms of the disease, ”said UNAHM in a press release. “We hope that the vaccination campaign can also benefit staff working in social protection centers, and educational executives in educational establishments for people with disabilities, whatever their age”, adds the Union.
